it’s sad.. according to Bae on chinese idol, their group has disbanded!! that’s too bad, I really liked them and was looking forward to their 2nd album ! they’re way better than a lot of other ‘singer wannabe’ girl bands out there in Taiwan with no talents whatsoever

Too bad Citytv is shutting down on August 31st. CKVU, CKEM and CKAL will all cease operations, while CITY will be converted into a cable-only news channel named “CityNews Channel”. The remaining station, CHMI, has been sold to Bell Media and will be rebranded as CTV Two on September 1st.

CKVU ceased operations last Wednesday following a two-hour retrospective. KCPQ replaced CKVU on the channel 13 spot on cable systems.

The same thing happened to CHEK-TV in Victoria, BC (in fact, I live in nearby Vancouver). Now all I get on channel 6 is Family Channel.Too bad CHEK closed on October 30 after the sale was terminated; I now watch TBS (formerly Family Channel) on channel 6.

Family is shutting down on December 31. Their final sign-off video will be similar to that of The WB.Family in Canada had a final montage video similar to this when it shut down on December 31, 2009.
Family rebranded to TBS at 6:00am on January 1.
The channel currently occupies the slot (channel 6) formerly held by CHEK-TV on Shaw Cable in Vancouver.

It’s too bad the Cookie Jar Group has now gone bankrupt, and when you see either Busytown Mysteries or Sabrina: The Animated Series on CBS Zone this May, you’ll see the CTVglobemedia logo instead.CBS will simulcast The CW4Kids next month, and then the network will replace it with CBS Zone, which will include Busytown Mysteries and Sabrina: The Animated Series as well as eight shows from a cable network.
